About me…
I was attempting to find something wise or clever to say as an introduction when my husband informed me that my cat was drinking out of my water glass. And that I had put the potato chips away in the refrigerator. Oops.That is fitting.
Always trying to seem composed, I end up just a little more like Lucy (as in I love Lucy- the television show).
By profession I am a Licensed Psychologist in Orange County, California. I received my Masters Degree in Marriage Family Therapy and my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Hope International Univeristy, Azusa Pacific, and Argosy University. I have been in private practice since 1994.
I have enjoyed the experience of being a foster parent.I am currently married with 3 grown step-sons. (and 3 dogs and the aforementioned cat.) I grew up in this area and my favorite place is- of course- the beach and tidepools.
Psychological Services

I work with adults, children, adolescents, and families dealing with a variety of issues. I am EMDR trained and focus a majority of my clinical work in the areas of trauma, chronic illness, childhood concerns, parenting, foster care and adoption.
In addition to outpatient psychological services, I do consulting with schools and families related to childhood behavior and learning issues, behavior management, and adjusting to chronic illnesses.
Fees for Services
For psychotherapy services, I am an approved provider for some PPO/HMO insurance carriers- of course individual plans may vary based on the type of plan offered by the employer and diagnosis being treated. I accept the contracted rate for services performed when billing insurances and clients are responsible for all copayments and deductibles- if any.
Clients who do not have or do not wish to utilize insurance benefits may negotiate a confidential cash fee based on usual and customary rates in the area. For additional information, you may contact me.
